Corals of the World!

Since we are about to begin our study of coral reefs here in the Keys I thought I would post this awesome online resource about corals from the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS). It has information on coral classification, distribution, reproduction, and evolution. It has fact sheets on many different species and even pictures of corallites for each species which is something that is usually difficult to find all on one site. One of the best features of the site is that it lets you search by map then lists all coral species in that area which will be useful this week.
