-Fort Desoto Park
Today we studied biodiversity at Fort Desoto Park using several different methods. Today I learned about isopods which are a type of crustacean that is flattened dorso-ventrically. Here are some of the organisms that we collected.(: In addition I stayed out with a classmate to work on my independent study of the distribution and abundance of mangroves.
A Baby Puffer fish
An arrow crab, so awesome!
An olive snail
This sieve came in handy(:
Sea Robin, Favorite of the day!
Took me forever to get this picture of a mangrove crab, they're quick.
